This four-tower pre-construction project, ranging in height from 40 to 55 storeys, will sit at 1355 Kingston Road at Liverpool Rd and Kingston Rd. It will have around 2,100 residences ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom plus den units.
Investors can be among the first to be part of this exciting, mall-centred, master-planned community with excellent access to GO Transit and Hwy 401.
Amenities
Pickering City Centre Block 1 will be part of the upcoming Pickering City Centre Redevelopment, a 55-acre master-planned community that will shape Pickering’s downtown around the busy Pickering Town Centre.
It will be the project’s first phase — future phases will see the eventual rise of 10 mixed-use towers along Glenanna Rd on the mall’s east side.
Block 1 will consist of four soaring, rectilinear mixed-use towers with glass balconies and sleek metal and grey stone elements that project a contemporary yet timeless look and feel.
A total of 18,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level will encourage an active pedestrian streetscape that will complement the complete community.
The four towers will be built in multiple heights — the first will be 45 storeys with 500 units, the second will be 40 storeys with 450 units, the third will be 50 storeys with 550 units, and the fourth will be 55 storeys with 600 units — and feature individual podiums that will provide ample terrace space for residents. These towers will house 2,100 residential units in a mix of suite styles and sizes.
You can choose between one-bedrooms ranging from 491 to 500 square feet, one-bedroom plus dens between 492 to 611 square feet, two-bedrooms between 610 to 725 square feet, and two-bedroom plus dens ranging from 725 to 1,002 square feet.
Each suite will enjoy stunning views from floor-to-ceiling windows.
Residents can look forward to fantastic hotel-style amenities. Approximately a total of 100,000 sq. ft. of amenities, 35,000 of indoor and 75,000 outdoor amenities, it will also include an enormous 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with a spin studio and sauna, stunning rooftop infinity pool, outdoor lounges and BBQ stations, spacious co-working and social areas, an entertainment room, a children’s playground, beautifully landscaped courtyards, and even an indoor golf simulator!
Residents will also have access to a dedicated “virtual clinic” amenity space with revolutionary technology, giving them cutting-edge medical diagnostics at their fingertips.
The grand lobby will welcome you home with thoughtful design details that elevate the space. Collect your mail, pick up a parcel, or meet your visitors here. The 24-hour concierge is here to answer all of your questions and offer assistance as you come and go.
Details about suite features and finishes are to come, but based on previous projects by this developer, we can expect spacious and well-appointed layouts and designs that will offer comfortable everyday living.
Location & Neighbourhood
Pickering City Centre is the gateway into Durham Region from Toronto and is slated for thrilling growth. Downtown Pickering has been designated an Urban Growth Centre by the Province of Ontario, meaning that it is targeted for enormous population and job growth. This translates into skyrocketing property values in the future as this area becomes the city’s hotspot for living, working, and playing.
Right off the bat, investors can take advantage of a walkable neighbourhood well-served by public transit, which is why Pickering City Centre is an ideal site for transforming into a complete community. Pickering GO Station is a short distance from the development site, on the other side of Hwy 401, connected to the mall’s south end by a pedestrian bridge. From there, riders can access the Lakeshore East line and travel by train to Toronto in 45 minutes or Oshawa in 20 minutes.
