Amenities
This resplendent residential complex consists of three separate townhome blocks, each with their own characteristics.
The Princess Charlotte block is the largest building. Located along Baldwin to the west end of the site, this 3-storey facility caters to families with its many multi-roomed suites:
- 2 one-bedroom + terrace or balcony units (691–728 Sq Ft)
- 10 two-bedroom + terrace or balcony units (878–1133 Sq Ft)
- 25 three-bedroom + terrace or balcony units (1103–1545 Sq Ft)
The Prince William is the development’s smallest block of townhomes, but feature some of its largest units. Located across three floors, the Prince William is also a family-friendly development:
- 8 two-bedroom + terrace or balcony units (765–1,025 square feet) in addition to a third-storey two-bedoom unit that reaches 1,735 square feet
- 4 three-bedroom + terrace or balcony units (1,025–1,209 square feet) as well as 3 third-storey three-bedroom units that reach a maximum of 1,867 square feet
The Prince Henry block is the outlier to its townhome peers by offering two-storey living units each equipped with their own private entrance. Bordering the south end of the site, these ten units come in the following configurations:
- 3 two-bedroom + patio + balcony units (1,499–1,689 Sq Ft)
- 7 three-bedroom + patio + balcony units (1,901–2,210 Sq Ft)
Some units do not come with a balcony or patio, while select units come with double balconies or patios. Larger units include space for a study, studio, laundry room or den. The entire complex is served by an underground parking garage.
Location & Neighbourhood
The northern Whitby suburb of Brooklin stands out as a great example of a successful neighbourhood expansion. Even though this remote community located a distance away from the city’s downtown and core services, it remains a tight-knit place that provides locals with all the necessities required for daily living.
Imbued with the charm of a small town and the amenities of a big city, Brooklin amply provides its residents with services and shops found in its downtown core, conveniently located steps away from the townhome. In just a 5-minute-walk, townhome residents can reach local banks and restaurants as well as downtown Brooklin’s hardware store, public library, and pharmacy. Meanwhile, the Brooklin Town Centre is a more traditional retail plaza area on the other side of downtown that offers a supermarket, bank, and pharmacy.
Although it may be located by northern city limits, Brooklin is actually situated close to some of Whitby’s most important locales.
Locals attending Ontario Tech University or Durham College will find Brooklin to be an ideal place as an off-campus residence. Located 9 minutes away by car or 26 minutes by transit, students can enjoy the urban lifestyle of this Brooklin-based townhome while still making it on time for morning classes. Not only that, this residence is also located close to the Heber Down Conservation Area, one of Whitby’s pristine woodland areas.
Additionally, drivers will find Brooklin to be well-served by quick access routes like Highway 407 and Highway 412 (that leads to Highway 401 to the south).
