Location & Neighbourhood

Homes in Don Mills are steps away from greenspace, entertainment, public transit, and major highways.

1075 Leslie Street Condos is uniquely situated in a natural paradise with Wilket Creek Park, Serena Gundy Park, and Ernest Thompson Seton Park surrounding the condos. A crowning feature of this development is its proximity to Sunnybrook Park. Just north of the project, this 147-acre park is home to lush green space, scenic cycling paths, and charming picnic sites. There are even dog parks and a grand horseback riding centre. This is the ideal home for those that want to live close to nature while also being minutes away from urban amenities.

But that’s not all! There are many mouthwatering restaurants in the area. Top-tier eateries in the area include Chef’s Table, Conspiracy Pizza, Sushi by K, Vegan Zone, and Mt Everest Restaurant, just to name a few. This area is also not low on bars, with The Leaside Pub, The Goose, The Well Restaurant & Bar, and Corks Beer & Wine Bar just around the corner.

You are also a short drive away from some of Toronto’s most important cultural centres. The famous science and nature museum, Ontario Science Centre, is less than a ten-minute drive away. Providing hours of family fun, this museum is an excellent place to learn about everything from human anatomy to geology. Its 600 hands-on activities and demonstrations make learning fun for both children and adults.

Aga Khan Museum is also minutes away. Toronto’s best collection of Islamic art, Iranian art, and Muslim culture, this museum aims to shed light on Islamic civilizations and promote unity between cultures.

As a bonus, Toronto Climbing Academy, a first-rate rock climbing facility, is a stone’s throw away.

This excellent locale has a wonderful Transit Score of 72. This area is well-served by bus routes, including Eglinton East Bus Route #34, Don Mills Bus Route #25, Flemingdon Park Bus Route #100, and Leslie Bus Route #51.

Major changes are coming to the area. The upcoming Eglinton Crosstown’s Sunnybrook Park Station will be a one to two-minute walk from this development. Also known as Line 5, this new TTC addition will make getting across the City up to 60% faster than before. Its 25 stops going from Kennedy in the east to Mount Dennis in the west will provide residents convenient access to work, errands, restaurants, and friends. Professionals and students will come flocking to this area in order to shorten their commute.

It gets better. The planned Ontario Line’s Science Centre Station will be a three-minute drive away. This 15.5-kilometre rapid transit line will connect Exhibition Station to the Ontario Science Centre, supplying connections to underserved areas in Toronto. Its 15 stations will provide links to TTC Lines 1, 2, and 5, a plethora of bus and streetcar routes, as well as GO Transit services.

This neighbourhood’s popularity is only going up. We can see why. There is always something fun to do, from visiting a museum to enjoying one of the area’s many eateries. Now is the best time to invest, as the completion of the two subway lines will make prices go through the roof.
