1107 Main Street West Condos is a new mixed-use modern condominium by IN8 Developments in Hamilton. This pre-construction project is located at 1107 Main St W. near Dow Avenue and Main Street West. Located on the edge of the burgeoning Westdale neighbourhood in Ainslie Wood East, this development is just moments from McMaster University.
This attractive new project will be a 15-storey building with 264 units and ample commercial space. Studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom + den, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom suites ranging from 358 to 885 square feet will be available, with wide-ranging choice for investors.
Amenities
1107 Main Street West Condos will include 264 units and 536.2 square metres of commercial space. In total, the gleaming project will have a 261,000-square-foot GFA and will offer quality amenities and modern finishes that homebuyers will love, such as smart home features soaring 9′ ceilings. The condo will feature a wide range of unit types welcoming McMaster students looking for a luxurious off-campus residence. We can expect layouts in the following contingencies:
- 358 square foot studios
- 491-680 square foot one-bedrooms
- 470-658 square foot one-bedroom + dens
- 694-1110 square foot two-bedrooms
- 882-885 square foot three-bedrooms
The charming high-rise development will feature lavish open-concept units with spacious balconies and terraces. The units will range in size from 358 to 885 square feet.
The grade level will be designed to hold six commercial units fronting onto Main Street West for a total of 5,750 square feet.
The units will sit adjacent to the residential lobby and 2,500 square feet of amenity space. Inhabitants will have access to a large 480 square metre central courtyard, which can be utilized as a common outdoor area where residents are encouraged to mingle, work out, and enjoy the fresh air.
Directly adjacent to the courtyard residents will also have access to 93 square metres of indoor amenity space which is reserved for a fitness facility.
Landscaped terraces will be located on the 8th floor, providing additional private amenity space– where residents can step out onto and study, bask in the sun or both. The west terrace will be over 4,000 square feet and include a BBQ station, a private dining area, cabanas, a lounge area, a hammock, and green space. From here, residents will enjoy views of the neighbouring escarpment and lake. The east terrace will also be more than 4,000 square feet and will feature private meeting spaces, shared work spaces, high-speed wifi, green space, and plenty of lounge seating. This area will offer stunning vistas of Downtown Hamilton and the escarpment.
The proposal also includes a two level underground parking garage holding 234 parking spaces and 156 bicycle parking spaces.
This development will be the perfect off-campus residence providing McMaster students a convenient location with excellent amenities. Its multiple layouts and designs allows students to roomie up and share these luxurious spaces at an affordable price.
Location & Neighbourhood
1107 Main Street West Condos is located in a low-rise residential neighbourhood known as Ainslie Wood East– an area growing with investment potential. This neighbourhood is located immediately south of McMaster University, and in close distance to many restaurants and cafes, the McMaster Children’s Hospital and sits just 8 minutes from downtown Hamilton. This neighbourhood is close to many grocery stores and everyday essentials including banks, and pharmacies providing a convenient and comfortable place to call home.
Main Street West is a prime thoroughfare well serviced by the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) with multiple bus routes found along the street; residents will also be conveniently close to the McMaster University GO station.
The region will only further increase in transit-orientation as Metrolinx and HSR have planned to implement the first phase of its BLAST Network. Once complete, BLAST will provide comprehensive light rail transit throughout the city.
The B Train is the first phase, and it will serve the arterial Main/King corridor — stretching from McMaster University in the west to Eastgate Square in the east. This 14-Kilometre rapid transit line, which is set for completion in 2024, will not only provide a convenient transportation method it will also help increase the population and residential intensification.
The Hamilton region is densely populated with many green spaces, parks and trails accommodating residents and locals with an active lifestyle. Due to its proximity to the Niagara Escarpment it is especially close to many conservation areas and home to a plethora of breath-taking waterfalls. This development will be especially close to the Chedoke Radial Recreational Trail which offers an expansive path connecting to Mountview Falls. Other parks include Stroud Road Park, Churchill Park and Royal Botanical Gardens, and in less than 20 minutes residents have access to Albion Falls, Webster Falls, Sherman Falls, Buttermilk Falls and 100’s more.
Hamilton is a rapidly growing region widely known as an industrial centre and the Steel Capital of Canada (due to its years as one of the major steel producers in North America). The region is rapidly increasing with employment options, and residential developments; and its location in the Golden Horseshoe makes for a promising real estate investment. Not to mention, this condo’s proximity to the downtown core and McMaster University, which sees over 30,000 yearly enrolments, makes for a highly-desirable locale. We can’t think of a reason not to invest in this unparalleled condominium opportunity.
