Condo Project Summary
This is an upcoming, transit-oriented condo project in a rapidly developing neighbourhood, steps from Mount Pleasant GO Station.
25 Lagerfeld Drive Condos is a new high-rise condominium by Menkes Developments in Brampton. This pre-construction project is located at 25 Lagerfeld Dr, in the Mount Pleasant Village neighbourhood. This project features 674 residential units split between two towers at over 30 storeys each.
Residents will have access to a vital transit station, a beautiful public square, and a landmark cultural and educational centre.
Amenities
25 Lagerfeld Drive Condos will be comprised of one 32- and one 34-storey tower, sharing a 3-storey podium. Designed by Rafael + Bigauskas Architects, the project will have 674 residential units in various configurations, including 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den (with one or two bathrooms), and 2 bedroom units.
There will also be select two-storey townhouses available on the ground floor in 2 bedroom + den and 3 bedroom configurations.
With plenty of amenity space and desirable public transit access, this is an exciting investment opportunity for commuters, students, and families on the southwest corner of Lagerfeld Dr and Ashby Field Rd.
The building’s spacious amenities will be mainly located on the third floor of the podium, with some areas at the ground level. The amenity space will include 11,679 sq. ft. indoors and 13,369 sq. ft. outdoors for a total of 25,048 sq. ft. shared among residents.
The project will include four levels of underground parking, providing 523 vehicle parking spaces and 341 bike parking spaces.
Preliminary architectural renderings show wraparound balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows with clean, white framing elements. More details about the design and building materials are TBA.
Location & Neighbourhood
25 Lagerfeld Drive Condos is part of an urban transit-focused neighbourhood centred around the Mount Pleasant GO Station. While part of the Kitchener GO line, this station also provides access to a dozen routes in Brampton’s transit system — including Züm bus rapid service — offering fantastic and convenient access to public transit throughout the GTA. More condo developments are anticipated in this area as this transit-oriented community grows around the GO Station and Brampton continues to expand.
The condo site is right by Bovaird Dr, an arterial road that turns into Hwy 7 outside the city and provides convenient car access to Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo — part of Canada’s Innovation Corridor and a place of interest for anyone working in the tech industry. Bovaird Dr also boasts several local bus routes, which also offer easy connection from Brampton to Mississauga and Vaughan.
Although Brampton is a car-dependent city, Mount Pleasant Village is designed with some excellent walkable amenities. Just steps from the condo site is Mount Pleasant Village Square, a lovely park with a water feature, seasonal rink, dog-friendly green space, playground, public art displays, and a clock tower. It is connected to a branch of the Brampton Public Library, a primary school, and a small community centre in a beautifully repurposed old train station.
Several elementary and secondary schools are within walking distance, including Mount Pleasant Montessori, James Potter Public School, and Worthington Public School — all highly rated. For more green space, just a 4-min drive away is the 100-acre gem Creditview Sandalwood Park, which features multiple sports fields (cricket, lacrosse, and soccer), splash pads, a playground, and approximately 3 km of trails perfect for strolling down. All these local features offer benefits to active family living.
Other conveniences are short drives from this development. For groceries, there are Fortinos and Longos nearby and a plaza across the street with a convenience store, pharmacy, and Tim Hortons. Fantastic shopping can be found at Bramalea City Centre, about 20 mins away. It features over 300 retailers, making it one of the largest malls in Canada. The centre sports many big box stores, including Hudson’s Bay, Best Buy, Sport Chek, H&M, and Sephora, as well as grocery stores Metro and FreshCo.
Finally, Sheridan College’s primary location, Davis Campus, is less than 10 km away and accessible by Züm or car, making This condo project an option for investors looking to rent out to students.
