The kitchens will have 3⁄4” square edge granite countertops, kitchen cabinetry per Vendor’s packages, deeper cabinet over fridge as per plan, one bank of drawers, space permitting, hardware for base and upper cabinetry, single undermount stainless steel sink in the stacked towns and double under mount stainless steel sink in the live/work units with integral pull out spray faucet, island and/or flush breakfast bar as per plan and stainless steel (with black accents) appliance package to include ENERGY STAR frost free refrigerator with bottom mount freezer, self-cleaning smooth top electric range, over the range microwave with integrated exhaust vented to the exterior and ENERGY STAR multi-cycle dishwasher.
The ensuite and bathrooms will include granite countertops with white porcelain on bath vanity, cabinetry per Vendor’s packages, 12” x 24” ceramic tile on floors, 4” x 16” horizontal ceramic tile in tub surround as per plan, frameless glass shower enclosure in stand up shower in 3A unit with master ensuite complete pot light, 4” x 16” horizontal ceramic tile on walls and ceiling and 2” x 2” mosaic floor tile, white acrylic soaker tub and mirror over vanity.
The project will feature large patios, terraces and balconies. There will also be one level of secured underground parking with resident and visitor parking access and dedicated commercial visitor parking at grade and residential visitor parking at grade and below grade. The exterior designs will display modern finishes with a combination of brown brick, and wooden panelling. The front yards will be beautifully landscaped with ample space and wide sidewalks lined with benches and greenery. Finally, the community will offer professionally landscaped grounds with multiple walking paths, seating areas, play areas, private community park, dog park, dog wash station and a car wash stall.
Location & Neighbourhood
Glenway Urban Towns will be located at the southeast corner of Mitchell Place & Davis Drive West in Newmarket. Newmarket is an emerging town in the real estate industry and has many growth opportunities as it is a designated Urban Growth Centre. Respectively, this site is the perfect haven for those looking to get away from the busy city streets, yet still sits in close proximity to the town’s commercial centre.

The area is also serviced by the YRT (York Region Transit) with bus stops located in close proximity hence making it easy for residents to travel around the city. In addition to providing local transit, the YRT also operates the Viva Rapid Bus transit system, which provides access to the Toronto Subway System through a route that connects the Newmarket Bus Terminal with the Finch Bus Terminal in North York.
Conveniently, the towns sit just 10 minutes away from Highway 400 making travel in and out of the city seamless. To the east of the town one also has access to Highway 404, providing a direct route to Markham and major routes such as the Don Valley Parkway and the 401.
Newmarket is a town that has an upward population trend and is expected to see significant growth in the coming years. With a population sitting at 84,224, some projections claim the town will reach 98,000 people by the year 2026.
