Quayside Condo Project Summary
This upcoming mixed-use project on Toronto’s beautiful waterfront features a rich array of amenities.
Quayside Block 3 Condos is a 2-building residential development by Dream Unlimited and Great Gulf in Toronto. Located at 333 Lake Shore Blvd E, between Small St and Parliament St, this future phase of the Quayside master-planned community will include a 56-storey tower and a 12-storey mass timber building with 749 condo units and rental units.
Picture yourself living on Toronto’s exciting waterfront, which boasts coveted lake views, beach access, and world-class attractions. Future transit developments like the Ontario Line and Waterfront East LRT expansion promise to add greater accessibility and value to the community.
Amenities
Quayside Block 3 Condos will feature a 56-storey high-rise with a 15-storey podium at the north portion of the site and a new 12-storey mid-rise on the east side of Small St. Designs for the taller building are to come; meanwhile, the 12-storey portion of the block will continue the mass timber construction of The Timber House, part of the first phase of Quayside’s development.
It promises to be an eye-catching and sustainable building that will be one of the largest of its kind in Canada. Designed by Adjaye and Associates New York and rendered in warm wood with distinctive portals and cantilevers, this building is slated to be a landmark project on Queens Quay.
This phase of the master-planned community will add 749 new dwellings, including 475 market-rate condominiums and 274 affordable-rate rentals.
The unit breakdown is as follows:
- 20 studio condo units
- 280 one-bedroom condo units
- 125 two-bedroom condo units
- 50 three-bedroom condo units
Rentals:
- 29 studio rental units
- 86 one-bedroom rental units
- 106 two-bedroom rental units
- 40 three-bedroom rental units
- 13 four-bedroom rental units
The 56-storey tower will offer retail space on the ground and mezzanine levels, amenity space on floors 2 and 16, and office space on floors 3 to 8. 143 rental units will be located on floors 9 to 21, with 475 condo units filling the rest of the tower from floor 22 onward. The 12-storey addition to The Timber House will feature only rentals, totalling 131 units. It will have retail space on the ground floor and an outdoor Urban Farm expansion on the roof.
Throughout this phase, over 10,000 square feet of indoor and nearly 8,500 square feet of outdoor amenity space will provide ample life-enriching amenities to residents. Underground parking will include 145 vehicle spaces and 863 bike spaces. This phase of the Quayside development will also add 20,000-plus square feet of retail space and 50,000-plus square feet of office space to the community, thus providing rich job opportunities to East Bayfront.
Other Quayside community amenities will include a Community Forest (with seating and areas for gathering, children’s play area, off-leash dog runs, and outdoor fitness) and a Community Hub (with outdoor space, a communal kitchen, educational spaces, collaborative working spaces, health and wellness spaces, and artistic spaces including a theatre, an auditorium, and a café).
The Timber House will feature a unique Urban Farm on its rooftop; this will be a functional agricultural facility with a greenhouse, event space, and more.
